Welcome to the University of Bristol Commercial Awareness Society!

Since our founding in 2018, we have grown into the largest society in the university dedicated to helping you develop and demonstrate your commercial awareness. We do the hard part - breaking down complex commercial news into bite-sized stories - so you're ready for your next application.

This year, we are pleased to be announcing our most ambitious agenda yet. Building on our previous inaugural Commercial Awareness Competition, this year's competition is undergoing an exciting new revamp with new prizes on offer! Will you be a winner?

Last year, you asked for more in-person events. That's why we are introducing the new CAS lectures, offering our members an opportunity to deliver a presentation on any commercial affair of their interest - a brilliant way to develop the communication skills and confidence sought after by top City firms.

Do you find commercial news articles difficult to understand? Don't worry! We will also be introducing a new and sleek Commercial Awareness Magazine, with the most recent commercial updates delivered straight to your inbox, with topics ranging from the hottest acquisition to the latest UK fiscal policy change.

Don't worry - being commercially aware doesn't stop us from knowing how to have fun! This year, we are introducing plenty more social events that cater for everyone, whether that be on the Downs or at the pub! We're keen for you to join us - keep an eye out on our Instagram for more updates.
